First and foremost, I'm a writer, so I understand many of your concerns.
I love writing and enjoy contributing to the creative success of fellow writers.
I've been freelance writing for nearly twenty years and professionally editing for seven. I have both traditional and indie publications. My publication credits include poetry, short fiction, technical writing, and a fiction novel The Light in the Sound. I graduated from Indiana University in 2008 with degrees in Psychology, Creative Writing, and Journalism. I have an MFA in Creative Writing from Spalding University, Louisville, KY. During graduate school, I interned as an editor with The Louisville Review and Dzanc Books. Post graduation, I taught composition, literature, and persuasive rhetoric courses on campus for Daytona State College and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, then online for Southern New Hampshire University. I also have a strong background in website design, graphic art, and marketing.
My favorite novel is Housekeeping by Marilynne Robinson--Fall on Your Knees by Ann-Marie MacDonald is a close second. Though I doubt anything will ever sweep me off my feet again the way A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle did when I was in the fourth grade.
My favorite words are wanderlust, petrichor, and sapiosexual.
