First and foremost, I'm a writer, so I understand many of your concerns.
I love writing and enjoy contributing to the creative success of fellow writers.
I've been freelance writing for nearly twenty years and have both traditional and indie publications. My publication credits include poetry, short fiction, technical writing, and a fiction novel The Light in the Sound. I graduated from Indiana University in 2008 with degrees in Psychology, Creative Writing, and Journalism. I have an MFA in Creative Writing from Spalding University, Louisville, KY. During graduate school, I interned as an editor with The Louisville Review and Dzanc Books. Post graduation, I taught composition, literature, and persuasive rhetoric courses on campus for Daytona State College and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, then online for Southern New Hampshire University. I also have a strong background in website design, graphic art, and marketing.
My favorite novel is Housekeeping by Marilynne Robinson--Fall on Your Knees by Ann-Marie MacDonald is a close second. Though I doubt anything will ever sweep me off my feet again the way A Wrinkle in Time
by Madeleine L'Engle did when I was in the fourth grade.
My favorite words are wanderlust, petrichor, and sapiosexual.
